Artist's Comments
This originally cam from the artist William Hogarth. The painting is titled Breakfast Scene from the Marriage a la Mode series in 1745. Hogarth is of the Rococo era. This painting is a satire on the wealthy class society of England. I had this assignment to do and follow certain rules. I had to place me as a character in the scene and add subtle changes to painting to make it look as if it was hardly changed at all. The man in the chair is my boy friend. Hahahahahaha! So cute.
I painted this in watercolors and then used some colored pencils. Oh this is Hogarth's painting [link] |
